Account Required
To publish a Playlab app, you must:
- Have an active Playlab account
- Be logged into Playlab
- Have permission to publish apps in your workspace
Share Your Work
Publishing your app allows others to use it, provide feedback, and potentially remix it to create new variations. It’s a great way to contribute to the Playlab community.

Publishing Process
Review Your App
Ensure your app is ready for others to use before publishing.
- Test your app thoroughly in preview mode
- Check that all features work as expected
- Review the app’s title, description, and prompts for clarity and functionality
- Ensure all necessary references are included
Publish the App
Access the publishing options from your app’s editor.

Click the “Publish” button in the top-right corner of the editor

Choose your publishing scope:
- Not Published - This is on by default. Only creators of the app can edit the app.
- Workspace only - Available to members of your workspace.
- Playlab - Available to anybody who has a Playlab account.
- Public - Available to the entire Playlab community.

Add some instructions in the Design tab.

Click “Publish” to make your app available.
Share Your Published App
Make it easy for others to find and use your app.
- Copy the direct link to your published app
- Share the link with colleagues, friends, or in a LMS
- Embed your app on your website or blog (if Enterprise member)
- Encourage others to try your app and provide feedback
